Pumpkin is great for a dog’s digestive system, which makes these biscuits a superb item to keep on the menu. Not only will they facilitate digestion, but they can also be fed to a dog suffering from stomach problems. You’ll be able to produce around 24, one ounce balls from this recipe.

  • 2/3 cups of pureed pumpkin.
  • 1/3 cup of cold water.
  • 2 cups of brown rice whole grain flour.
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 2 and ½ tablespoons of olive oil or flaxseed oil.
  • Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare a baking tray by adding two layers of baking paper.
  • Take the pumpkin puree and stir it to smoothen its texture. You can also add an egg into it at this point if you are using one.
  • In a separate bowl, add olive/flaxseed oil to the brown rice flour and stir well.
  • Once you have readied your rice mixture, begin adding your pumpkin puree into it while constantly stirring.
  • Mix all the ingredients with your hands until a consistent doughy texture is reached.
  • Pour out the mixture onto your baking tray and use a separate baking paper sheet or a spatula to spread it out evenly.
  • Lightly sprinkle some rice flour onto the mixture and cover it with a baking/wax paper sheet.
  • Cut the mixture into even portions and then place the tray in your oven.
  • Leave it in the oven for 40 minutes to let the mixture dry out completely.
  • You can now keep these biscuits in a container and feed them to your dog as treats.
